UPDATES:

We recently concluded our town hall meetings that covered characteristics and qualities that the congregation would like to see in our next pastor. The team is comparing those responses, along with the forms that were completed online, to develop the candidate profile, job description and church profile. Once this “hiring packet” is created we will begin distributing to our potential pastor pools and receiving applicants.

Tentative Timeline:

  • April-May – Committee meetings to create candidate profile, job description, and church profile utilizing input from Town Hall Meetings.
  • June-Aug – Exploring pastoral pools and soliciting potential candidates. Receiving and reviewing applications, potentially begin interviews.
  • Sept-Oct – Continue interviews and narrowing candidates. Committee potentially visiting candidate home churches.
  • Nov-Dec – Narrow to final candidate(s) for review and vote by SALT.
