Welcome to SunKids!
We are excited to offer a variety of engaging programs designed to help
children know, love, and serve God. Classes feature age-appropriate,
Bible-based lessons taught by trained volunteers in a fun, safe, and
positive environment.
SunKids classes for children age three (and potty trained) through fifth
grade are offered on Sundays at the 9:30am and 11am
worship services. Pick the class and time that fits your family’s schedule!
Preschool (3 years-Pre-K)
Our youngest churchgoers will enjoy puppets, music and many Bible-based
activities as they learn about God’s love. Our "Promisedland" program is
offered on Saturday at 5pm, and Sundays at 9:30am and 11am. All preschoolers will gather
together for a large group time with music and a creative Bible lesson
followed by small group time with crafts, games, and playtime. Small
groups will be divided into 3 year-olds and 4-5 year-olds.
Elementary (K-5th Grade)
Kindergarten through fifth grade classes are located on the lower level and
are offered Sundays at 9:30am and 11am. Bible lessons are taught in a large group/small
group format and feature drama sketches, video clips, creative storytelling
and contemporary music! Large group time focuses on teaching biblical truths
in a child-targeted, relevant way, while small group activities model loving,
biblical communities where children become well known and receive encouragement
as they grow in their faith.
SunKids Class Check-In
Our computerized check-in system ensures the safety of our children, as well
as provides peace of mind to parents leaving their children in our care.
Please follow the guidelines located at the upstairs or downstairs check-in
stations before taking your child to a SunKids class. All classes are one
hour in length and your child should be picked up at the classroom immediately
following worship.
SunKids Offering
Weekly offerings in SunKids classes are used to support a "Compassion Child" in South
America, local charities, and SunRise ministries.
We believe that everything we have is a gift from a loving and generous God who
wants us to be a blessing to others. The amount given is not as important as
the habit of giving from what we have.

Your Involvement
We rely on our parent volunteers in many large and small ways, from teaching
a class, to leading songs, to coordinating a special event, to organizing
supplies. Our hope is that by participating as a volunteer in our ministry,
you will not only enhance the experience your child has at church, but help
build the spiritual foundation that equips your entire family to honor God
and advance His kingdom. All SunKids volunteers are screened through our
SunRise Safety Program.
