Dear Friends,
I greet you in the name of Christ our Savior.
I write to invite you to attend The Honduras Mission Summit that will take place on September 18 through
20 in St. Louis, MO at SunRise UMC. This will be a time for Christian fellowship while
at the same time we learn together how God is using the United Methodist Church to bring many blessings
to the country of Honduras.
We will hear from leaders in our churches in Honduras about how new communities are being reached with
the gospel of Christ. We will learn about the work of "Volunteer in Mission" teams that are transforming
communities by providing access to health services, electricity, clean water, and building church buildings
and affordable housing. We will hear about friendships built across geographic boundaries, and lives changed
as we give and receive and together witness to or faith in "word and deed".
I invite you and representatives from your congregation to join many others from across the US in this
informative and, we pray, inspiring Mission gathering.
May God's abundant blessings be upon you and your ministry.

Registration fees:
$80 for
the two full days (Friday and Saturday).
$40 for one day attendance, either Friday or Saturday.
Please specify on the registration form which day you will attend.
