SunRise Staff Opportunities
SunRise UMC is currently taking applications for the following positions. For additional information,

Worship Arts Director:
The successful applicant will display in their life a
personal commitment to Jesus Christ and will have the ability to comfortably share their faith in individual
as well as group settings. The Worship Arts Director will have oversight of all aspects of worship ministry
including connecting the worship arts ministry directly to the SunRise vision of "populating the Kingdom of
Heaven". This position will include coordinating drama teams, choirs, set designs, as well as participation
in weekly worship planning. We are looking for a person with great organizational skills and a great
understanding of current contemporary worship styles. A degree in music theory and/or experience in contemporary
worship ministry is a requirement to be considered for this position. Vocal and/or instrumental ability would
be an added plus.
Worship Music Coordinator:
The successful applicant will display in their life a personal
commitment to Jesus Christ and will have the ability to comfortably share their faith in individual as well as
group settings. This person would be the primary leader of all current in-house worship experiences
including the expectation of a weekly presence leading worship with a rotation of vocalist and instrumentalist.
This person needs to be gifted and outstanding in contemporary worship and needs to display a great passion for
worship and the ability to cultivate passion in band members and vocalists. Both vocal and instrumental music
theory/experience is a must for this position. Eight of the hours will be primarily weekend rehearsal and
worship (5 hours/Sunday, 3 hours/Saturday). A demo video is requested of recent worship leading with additional
video of any and all instrumental proficiencies.
Media Coordinator:
The successful applicant will display in their life a personal
commitment to Jesus Christ and will have the ability to comfortably share their faith in individual as well as
group settings. This person will coordinate all sound, lights, projection, and video associated with our worship
services, including the youth worship services. This person needs to be masterfully proficient in all four of
these areas, as well as, the ability to use Pinnacle production software and Easy Worship presentation software.
Shooting and editing in-house videos for all phases of SunRise will be a primary responsibility. Work hours to
include weekend worship/rehearsal (5 hours/Sunday, 3 hours/Saturday).
