Jim was raised on a dairy farm in the now infamous town of Windyville in southwest
Missouri. Jim enjoys spending his free time in outdoor activities and doing
in-home remodeling projects. Jim is married to the former Beth Cantlon and are
being raised by their four children; Heather, Sarah, Emily and Harrison.
Prior to entering the ministry Jim worked
with Beth’s family in their funeral home business as a funeral director, embalmer,
cemetery manager, and paramedic. The Blue’s have served two previous churches in
Missouri, the Gravois Mills UMC (Lake of the Ozarks) and St. Peter UMC Blue Springs.

Pastor of Adult Ministries

Tammy Herman moved with her family to O'Fallon from
North Carolina in 1999. She joined the SunRise staff
as Church Secretary in 2003, bringing to the position
9 years of church secretarial experience. Tammy has
been searching for a way to make the call to ministry
she first heard as a high school junior a reality for
many years. She became a Licensed Local Pastor
appointed to SunRise on July 1, 2005. As Pastor of
Connecting Ministries, Tammy will utilize her passion
for people and ministry by helping people find a place
to work, grow and serve in the SunRise family. Also a
highlight of her ministry is Congregational Care.
Tammy is married to Mark, a National Account Manager
for All Safe SMC. They have a son, Marcus who is a
student at the University of Missouri, Columbia, a
fire fighter with the Boone County VFW, and a member
of the Band of the Central States, stationed with the
131st Fighter Wing of the Missouri Air National Guard
at Lambert Field.

Pastor of Youth Ministries

Bill and his family have been worshipping at SunRise since 1999. Over the last 20 years, Bill has served
at three different churches in St. Charles County as a Worship and Music leader with both adult and youth
volunteers. In July of 2005, Bill answered a life-long call to ministry and became a Licensed Local Pastor
in the United Methodist Church. He was appointed as an Associate Pastor at SunRise with primary responsibilities
in Youth Ministry, also called Daybreak. Bill is married to Carol LaMora and they have 5 children between the
two of them. Bill has a son Thomas, and twin daughters Ashley and Danielle. Carol has two daughters, Liz and
Amber. They have four grandchildren Connor, Alexander, Brennan and Amyia who keep them very busy.

Worship Arts Leader

A graduate of the University of Kansas at Lawrence, Rochelle came to SunRise
in 1998. Although active in local church music ministry for years, she made
"the big switch' from Music therapist in healthcare to Director of Music
Ministries in the church after much prayer and some miraculous nudging of
the Holy Spirit.
Rochelle's passions include worship evangelism, choral directing, composing
contemporary Christian music, surfing the net, and cooking. She describes
herself as "Erma Bombeck with a wireless headset and a 600-watt amplifier."
Her band, "The Soul Exchange" released their original recording "Rock Some
Respect in 2003.
Rochelle is married to Steve, and they have four children; Lauren, Shannon,
Stefan, and Anthony. The Collettes' many family pursuits include home gardening,
collecting large quantities of power tools, mission work, and their pets.
Their Netherland Dwarf Rabbit, Gunther, is the founding member of "Pet-Pals,"
the pet therapy ministry of SunRise.
Rochelle serves on the Missouri Advisory Committee for the Adoption Exchange.

Lisa has served in children's ministry for over 20 years, and has been a part of the SunRise staff since 2004.
Answering God's call to ministry and feeling challenged to imagine the fresh possibilities, she is completing
her Bachelor of Arts in Children's Ministry.
Her desire is for kids to experience Christ in a dynamic new way through exciting programs and lessons that are
child-targeted, relevant and Bible based.
Lisa is married to John Wood and they have two sons, Johnny and Brandon. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys
leading a ladies Bible study, camping, vacationing, gardening and scrapbooking.

Preschool/CDO Director

Ann joined the SunRise staff in the Fall of 2001. She brings to this position over ten years of experience
as both a teacher and director of Christian preschools. Ann feels that she have
been called to provide a loving, nurturing environment for His children. She
loves her job and her staff and is truly honored to be a part of SunRise staff.
Ann is married to Kevin Keller, who is employed by A-B Packaging Group. They
have two college-age daughters, Nina and Amanda. In her spare time, she enjoys
reading, gardening and singing.

Lindsey joined the SunRise staff in September 2005. Lindsey and her husband, Nathan, keep busy with
their 2 year old son, Dylan, and their new baby Joshua.
Lindsey graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Graphic Design in 2002. Serving as the
Communications Coordinator, she has worked to design the SunRise identity,
web site, and the SunRise enewsletter. Lindsey also enjoys being
a part of the Praise band and coordinating and serving on the Welcoming Team.
